Jewelry is my livelihood and my life. It is a multi-facetted, always changing learning experience in new designs, techniques, and materials. Our designs are original hand- fabricated and cast neckwear, ear wear, bracelets, and rings meant to enhance and be wearable for fun or for work. All materials are solid metals and natural stones.
My training began in 1975 with an apprenticeship under a professional jeweler learning soldering, stone setting, lapidary, and metal finishing. I then apprenticed with a machinist learning metal lathe, milling, casting, tool making, and the importance of tools.
Over the years as my passion for the craft grew in depth I advanced my technical skills, evolving into gold casting, fabrication, and working with precious and semi-precious stones, with a particuluar emphasis on designing custom pieces.
As a resident artisan of Colorado for over 40 years I have been designing and making jewelry since 1976. I presently reside in the Crystal Hills area of Manitou Springs, CO and have been working with my partner and apprentice William Rasch since 1984.
